So far the winter has been pretty gloomy. The snow has been falling and it has been cold. Now that the sun has came out it has been pretty fascinating to see the lake frozen over.
I decided to go out and see what I could get of the lake and what better place to go than the city beach. While the whole lake is not frozen a big portion of the north part is and it make a neat landscape.

I had my drone so I got a couple of shots with that as well as I wanted to see what I could do with a few different lenses. My 18-55, 10-18, and 75-300.

Very fun to get the different perspectives of the same scene. The panoramic photo is with my 75-300 shot with actually 13 different shots but I ended up breaking it down to 9 shots to stitch it together.

This photo can only really be enjoyed in person when it is full size. It was very nice of the guys in the photo to stay still during the shot as he was in two of them.
You can find these and more like them in my Winter Collection under the Gallery.

I hope you all are having a great start to 2017 as I have been. Enjoy!!
